ContextVision unveils latest innovation in advanced medical imaging
At this year’s RSNA, ContextVision demonstrates Rivent™, taking image enhancement for ultrasound to a whole new level
STOCKHOLM – Nov. 18, 2019 – ContextVision, a medical technology software company specializing in image analysis and artificial intelligence, provides cutting-edge technology to support clinicians to accurately interpret medical images, leading the way to better diagnoses and improved patient care. With its latest image enhancement product for ultrasound, Rivent, ContextVision offers the highest image quality and solves the increased demands for stronger processing with no compromise on the natural look.
“We can now achieve very strong processing with well-defined borders and efficient noise reduction enabling smooth tissue while keeping tissue information, which is very difficult without introducing artefacts” said Ann-Sofi Hoff, business development manager at ContextVision.
Rivent offers optimized image quality in both near and far field and automatic adaption to line density in real-time, addressing the development towards higher resolution in ultrasound systems.
“With Rivent, ContextVision can now offer extreme flexibility and customization possibilities to meet all needs and preferences of image-look”, said Hoff.
At RSNA, ContextVision will also showcase Altumira™, its first AI-based product for static and dynamic radiography. Altumira was released commercially earlier this year and addresses significant challenges regarding robust image quality that have been difficult to solve before. The deep learning technology utilized means Altumira provides the highest image quality independent of variations in exposure conditions.
“The reception of Altumira by the market has been beyond expectation. This highlights that we are in the forefront of transforming innovative technology into powerful products for improved diagnostic confidence and patient care. With the impending release of our new product, we have an even more valuable offer for imaging system manufacturers,” said Fredrik Palm, CEO of ContextVision.
