Global medical imaging leader powers medical imaging enhancements across four modalities
CHICAGO, Illinois and BOSTON, Mass. and STOCKHOLM, Sweden – Dec 1, 2008 – ContextVision celebrates a significant milestone, the 25th anniversary of its founding. Tens of thousands of clinicians around the world use medical devices equipped with ContextVision’s embedded adaptive imaging software for Ultrasound, X-Ray, MRI, and CT.
Founded in 1983 by the team that pioneered adaptive filtering at Linköping University, ContextVision has grown into a global medical imaging entity, serving leading OEMs and distributors across North America, Europe, Russia, and Asia. OEMs select ContextVision’s image enhancement software due to its ability to decrease time to market, the security of a future-proof partner, and for diagnostic confidence.
Twenty-five years of experience has allowed ContextVision to establish relationships and gain the trust of all its customers. These relationships, coupled with maintaining the highest standard of quality in image enhancement has led to continued company success.
“Our recent growth in the North American market signals our continued success and growth,” said Jan Erik, CEO of ContextVision. “Since 2004 we have expanded from four North American customers to eighteen customers today. Customers find security in ContextVision’s GOP technology, which guarantees the highest level of image enhancement possible, through the enhancement of fine structures and the reduction of noise.”
This achievement was celebrated at RSNA 2008, where ContextVision launch its newest product, GOPView® iRVPlus, an adaptive image enhancement and dose reduction software solution for Interventional Radiology.
