X-ray tuning tool allows users to set image enhancement parameters
BOSTON, Mass. and STOCKHOLM, Sweden – March 18, 2009 – ContextVision, the software imaging partner for the most recognized medical imaging manufacturers worldwide, today announced its continued investment in its X-ray division. This month ContextVision added to its team of image enhancement experts and announced a new version of its X-ray tuning software, GOPView® XR2-T.
About the New GOPView XR2-T
The new version of GOPView® XR2-T allows for fine adjustment of the image quality in digital X-ray images. XR2-T enables users to set their specific preferences for the post-processing of X-ray images. Feedback from ContextVision’s OEM customers indicated that end users wanted to have more control over tuning. With XR2-T, the images can be tuned to suit the personal preferences of individual customers, whether that is an increased focus on the small details or a decrease in noise and artifacts. The New GOPView XR2-T features two separate modes, image and feature, which accommodates two primary user groups: imaging experts and radiologists.

X-ray Team at ContextVision Expands
As ContextVision strives to offer its customers continued high-quality customer service in addition to high image quality, the company recently added to its team of medical imaging experts. Two industry veterans joined the X-ray team this month, Olivier Bochenback and Ann-Sofi Hoff.
Olivier Bochenbach, Image Processing System Engineer, brings to ContextVision an extensive knowledge in medical x-ray applications and technologies. Active in the medical imaging industry for over a decade, Bochenback most recently worked as System Engineer and Customer Project Manager at Mercury Computer Systems. In his new position at ContextVision, Bochenback will lead technical development projects, evaluate new technologies for their potential market impact, and support the Product Research & Concept team.
Ann-Sofi Hoff joins the team as Customer & Product Support Manager. Hoff will work with all ContextVision customers to ensure their image enhancement needs are met. Her extensive X-ray experience includes ten years at Siemens as a Medical Physicist and X-ray product development Project Manager, as well a product manager role at Ericsson. She holds a degree in Radiophysics from the University of Stockholm and Gothenburg.
